I feel a bit bad for this, but reviews need to be honest. The first time I purchased this item it was 100% perfect. Leather felt genuine, the pages were bright white. This time around as I beheld this book, I noticed it was already scuffed up (doesn't bother me as it is only cosmetic). Instead of the pages being the bright white of the original purchase, they were somewhat yellow (I wasn't happy about it, but I was willing to deal with it). But what really caused this purchase to be a loss was how bad the leather felt in the hand. It feels... Synthetic. Fake. Like wet cardboard except, well, dry. And now I grimace everytime I think about having to touch it. Even with a discount I wouldn't recommend this.

Presentation was nice, the notebook came in a cool muslin/cotton bag. It shipped quick and arrived on time too! The notebook itself is amazing. The leather feels nice and the engraving is beautiful.
My only concern would be the button closure used. It's not loose or anything, it just doesn't feel super secure while closed. If I were to close the notebook with a pen in the pen holder, I would fear it potentially opening up if the flap were to lightly catch on something, especially later down the line after opening it up a bunch. That's just me being very nitpicky though.
